Is ALO Legit?

ALO’s stated policy covers eligible unused merchandise, with several product-specific exceptions.

The returns page says eligible items can be returned for an exchange, store credit or refund. Original tags, sellable unused condition and proof of purchase are required. Bags need their original packaging and included items; sunglasses need their original case. Final Sale items are excluded. Refunds are stated to be processed 2–4 business days after ALO receives the return.

• For split payments, ALO says refunds go to gift cards first and then to the other original payment method for any remaining balance.

Payment methods and delivery charges can change with the delivery country.

ALO lists a broad set of domestic payment methods, including major cards, wallets, PayPal, Afterpay and Coinbase Commerce. It says accepted methods vary by country, so the cart is the stated place to see the options for a particular order. Crypto payments are stated to be limited to domestic orders.

• Where offered, DDP means duties are paid at checkout; choosing DDU can mean the carrier will not release the parcel until duties and taxes are paid.

The policy covers shopping data, tracking, service providers and privacy requests.

ALO says it collects information such as contact, purchase, payment, device and browsing data, depending on how a person uses its services. It says service providers may handle functions including e-commerce hosting, payments, communications and shipping. Its cookie settings allow non-essential cookies to be refused or deleted, though choices are browser and device specific.

• The policy lists access, correction and deletion rights in certain jurisdictions. It gives a privacy contact route and says responses are made as soon as possible, where possible within one month.
• ALO says it may process and store personal information outside a customer’s country of origin, including with affiliates, partners and service providers.

ALO provides self-service order tools plus chat, phone and email contact routes.

The Help Center covers orders, shipping, returns, exchanges, sizing, gift cards and payment questions. ALO lists chat hours of Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM PT and Saturday–Sunday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PT. It also lists a phone number and email route. No general email reply-time target was found in the reviewed contact page.

• ALO says completed orders move quickly into processing, so changes may not be possible. It advises contacting support immediately for cancellation help.
