Welo
Installation

Install Welo with a website builder

Paste the widget code generated in the Welo client portal into the custom-code area of your site builder.

First generate the snippet in client portal Widget. The builder instructions below describe common placement areas; names can vary by plan and editor version.

Shopify

For a site-wide Floating Badge, use the theme's custom code area or edit the theme layout where scripts are permitted. For an inline widget, add a Custom Liquid or HTML section to the product, landing or footer area.

WordPress

Use a Custom HTML block for an inline widget. For a site-wide badge, use the theme or site custom-code area that accepts scripts. Avoid editing theme files if your hosting or theme provides a safer custom-code field.

Webflow

Use an Embed element where an inline widget should appear. For a site-wide Floating Badge, use the project's custom code area and place the generated script in the body section.

Magento

Add an inline widget to the page content or a permitted HTML block. Add a site-wide badge through the theme layout or custom script area available to your store.

BigCommerce

Use the storefront theme's HTML or script area for a site-wide badge, or a page/content HTML block for an inline widget.

Squarespace

Use a Code Block for an inline widget. Use Code Injection only when your plan provides it and follow the builder's guidance for header or footer scripts.

Framer

Use an Embed component for an inline widget. For a site-wide badge, add the generated script to the project's custom code area.

Wix

Use an Embed Code element for an inline widget. Add a site-wide script through the custom code settings available to your site.

Other builders

Look for a Custom HTML, Embed, Code Injection or Custom Code feature. If the builder does not allow external scripts, contact its support or contact Welo support before changing your site.

Use the exact snippet from the portal. Welo does not require a separate view-counter script for the current widget installation flow.
