Install a Welo widget
Generate the current company-specific snippet in the client portal and add it to your website.
Use the dashboard-generated code so the company name, Welo Page and widget options match your account. The portal currently offers Floating Badge, Reviews Widget, Video Reviews, Tag Widget and Full Review.
1. Open Widget in the client portal
Sign in, open Widget and select a widget. Choose its available options, then use the preview to check the result.
2. Copy the generated code
Select Copy code. The snippet already includes your Welo Page URL and the selected settings. Do not replace the company slug or remove quotation marks. If you change the company or widget settings, copy the new snippet again.
3. Paste it into your website
Paste the code where you want the widget to appear. The Floating Badge is a script that can be placed before </body>. Reviews, Video Reviews, Tags and Full Review include a container and a script; place that block in the page section where it should render.
4. Save, publish and check
Save your site, publish it and open the page in a new browser tab. Check the widget on desktop and mobile. If it shows an unavailable state, verify that the generated URL is unchanged and that your site permits external scripts.
5. Use the generated snippet
Use the complete snippet copied from the portal. The portal-generated code is the maintained example for your company and selected settings.
